Eugene Umlor has been a plugin developer at Soundtoys for six years, working recently on wave digital filters and virtual analog emulation. At MIT, he is researching physical modeling synthesis and is interested in adapting extended techniques from contemporary music to playable software instruments. He completed his BS in Computer Science and Music at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and has consulted on games as a composer for DANG! Eugene also plays keys in several rock bands in the Boston-area DIY scene.
